Luke Wilkshire Football Academy
The Luke Wilkshire Football Academy is the first indoor football program of its kind in the Illawarra and South Coast region, making it independent of weather conditions or ground availability and hence able to operate all year round.
Led and directed by ex-Socceroo and world renowned football professional Luke Wilkshire, the Academy will teach, develop and enhance technical football skills for elite young players within the region.

Luke's professional experience includes:

80 caps for the Australian senior men's national team (Socceroos).

Participated in 2 FIFA Football World Cups and 2 Asian Cups.

Playing professionally for 19-years in countries including England, Netherlands, Russia and Australia.
More recently Luke has:

Assisted the Australian Senior Mens (Socceroos) and U20 (Young Socceroos) national teams.

Worked as Central Coast Mariners U23 Head Coach and Head of Youth Development between 2022-2023.

Coached the Wollongong Wolves in the NSW National Premier League, including being crowned 2019 NPL1 NSW Premiers and Australian National Champions along with being crowned coach of the year.
Luke possesses an AFC A Licence and currently works as a Professional Football expert with Channel 10 and Paramount +.
He is known for his football knowledge, sharp insight and ability to analyse and translate information to players, coaches and supporters alike.
